Description: Title: Antique Book Description: Presented for your consideration is this interesting early antique book. The book is titled, Dr. Chase's Recipes or Information for Everybody. It was published in 1874 by R.A. Beal in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The 648 page book contains recipes for a wide variety of foods such as wines and candies, as well as every day items like ink burning fluid. There is also recipes for home remedies to a wide assortment of medical conditions and first aid. There is also advice for mothers. In the front of the book are testimonies hyping up the book from businesses and individuals in the Ann Arbor area. All pages appear to be intact. This interesting book would make a nice addition to any rare or early book collection! Some light foxing and a few pages have some staining. Binding is broken and the pages are loosening from the binding. Some wear and tear is on the cover and about half of the spine covering missing. Handwritten notes are in pencil on the inside cover.
