Description: Eddie Murray is a former first baseman who is best known for the majority of his career that he spent with the Baltimore Orioles. He had short stints also with the Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, and Anaheim Angels. He was a perennial All-Star, Gold Glove winner, and Silver Slugger winner. He was the league Rookie of the Year in 1977 and the home run leader in 1981. He later coached the Orioles, Dodgers, and Indians. His jersey number was retired by the Orioles and is enshrined in both their and the National Baseball Halls Of Fame. His 1978 card pictured here is his rookie card in a Topps base annual set and is in beautiful condition, graded a 5.5 by SGC defined as Excellent-Plus. Long-term storage has been a climate-controlled, smoke-free home inside a plastic baseball card holder.
