Artist who dedicated himself to landscape, especially in those scenes where volantas or quitrines could be found, which he executed with correct drawing and pleasing color. He studied at the Academy of Painting and Sculpture of San Alejandro, where he was a student of Sanz Carta. At the beginning of the 1895 independence war, he left his training to join the independence struggles. His most recurrent themes were the city and countryside scenes of Cuba. He participated in the first Fine Arts salons held in Havana. His work Volanta was part of the historical exhibition Three Hundred Years of Art in Cuba. The painting Carretas (1912) was included in the exhibition Spanish and Cuban Paintings of the 19th Century, in Salamanca, Spain in 1999.EDUARDO MORALES. Pintor Cubano. Realizó estudios en la Academia de Pintura y Escultura de San Alejandro, donde fue discípulo de Sanz Carta. Al comenzar la guerra de independencia de 1895 dejó su formación para incorporase a las luchas independentistas. Sus temas mas recurrentes fueron las escenas citadinas y campestres de Cuba .Participó en los primeros salones de Bellas Artes que se realizaron en La Habana. Su obra Volanta formó parte de la histórica exhibición Trescientos años de arte en Cuba. El cuadro Carretas (1912) integró la exposición Pinturas españolas y cubanas del siglo XIX, en Salamanca, España en 1999.
