Wood rosette binding are only used on this model. X and Fun hybrid bracing, original under-saddle pickup. The Dao wood used for the side back is also known as New Guinea walnut, a member of the lacquer family famous for producing the sap used in lacquerware. The grain is similar to that of walnut. It is slightly softer than walnut. The sound is also soft, reflecting these characteristics. The low mids have a warmth of wood, the high mids are sharp, and the tone is not too hard, so it is easy on the ears and doesn't sound harsh even when played with strokes. Even though it is an SE, it is still a PRS, so p[robably the sound and playability are quite high. The string height is low, so it's relatively easy to play. Has a lot of marks.
