Description: What we have is a very high quality silk fabric with exceptional seamstress work and a top notch versatile design. The dress is simply definitive 60’s cocktail shape. Jackie O. Mid length. Silk lined. It was made to add by zipping on a second piece which takes the back to near floor length. The front tapers out and around to the longest part near ankles in the rear. The third piece is a wonderful, more than bolero style jacket over the shoulder half sleeve top with a double sash which instead of being a belt swings up and over one shoulder. This is lined in a wonderful silk satin. There is no label yet this is not home made. Far too high a quality. I have purchased and sold thousands of high end vintage (Edwardian thru 60’s) dresses for over 40 years for all occasions. The sixties were a wonderful time with so much change in fashion yet one could still find great fabrics and tailoring. This dress as shown in photos has two very small snaps which keep the sash in place over the shoulder. One side of one snap has torn away. The snap needs replacing with proper thread. A simple task for the person well equipped. Unfortunately I do not have access to such a person in my rural setting. There are no other issues. No stains, no wear, etc., this should last another 60 years. Please examine photos for measurements and feel free to message for more. Thank you.
