Elton John Honky Chateau Dick James Music Limited 1972 DJLPH 423 Nice copy of Elton Johns classic 1972 album. This beautifully produced 1972 pressing comes in a fully textured gatefold mock leather sleeve with a tuck-in envelope/wallet flap to the back of the sleeve that shows only mild signs of having been used!! On the front the titles are embossed above a glued-on sepia tone textured photo of Elton John. This beautiful sleeve is in Very good plus condition showing only mild signs of use and wear This copy is in very good plus condition and it is incredible to think that it is nearly 50 years old. The original inner sleeve is a white poly-lined generic inner. The vinyl itself is translucent and appears a dark red colour when held to the light.It is pressed on heavy vinyl and is Excellent condition with only the very mildest signs of use and only one or two pops on the first track on Side 1. Otherwise playback is Excellent!! Overall a classic original pressing in Very good to Excellent condition.
