Description: FABULOUS LATE VICTORIAN BLACK FOREST MIRROR CARVED WITH LEAVES & BERRIES c1895 This is a fabuous wall mirror framed in the Black Forest manner by intricately carved leaves and berries - I think they are hawthorn leaves. The carving itself is undamaged and has a delightful patina which adds to the rustic charm of the mirror. Please see the attached photos which are an integral part of this description. All items are described to the best of my knowledge, however I usually don't state the obvious as this can be seen from the numerous photos provided. As you will note from the attached photos, the item is in excellent condition for its age. As shown in the photos, there is a small loss of silvering to the bottom of the mirror however, in my opinion, this does not detract significanly from the overall 'look' of the item.
