Description: This is an original London cast recording CD of "Fiddler on the Roof" starring Topol in his legendary performance as Tevye. (Chaim Topol also starred in the motion picture version, toured America, and performed on Broadway in the title role. He is reported to have portrayed the character on stage more than 3500 times, exceeding everyone else.) This was autographed in vibrant blue paint pen on the cover of the CD booklet in August 2009 before a performance at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood when he was touring as Tevye his last time. The legendary performer added "Shalom" above his full name, Chaim Topol. (See a photo of Topol taken at the time; snapshot not included in the auction.)
