Description: This is a Gold coloured Curb chain pendant necklace made from a Greek FIFTY DRACHMA coin. The earliest is from 1986, latest from 2000. They feature Homer, famous poet & author of such works as The Iliad & The Odyssey who is considered to be one of the most revered and influential authors in history. The reverse has a Trireme which is an ancient Greek sailing vessel with three rows of oars. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The Curb chain is Gold plated with a Lobster claw clasp. Length is 450 mm (18") which can extend to 500 mm (20").
