Description: For sale is a fine framed Japanese block print of warrior Hatayama Shigetada on a horse by Yoshikazu, ca 1860. The framed picture is 10 1/2 inches wide by 13 ¼ inches tall; the visible are is 6 ¼ inches by 8 ½ inches. The print is in blue, red and black, with inscriptions as shown. It has a gilded wood frame with glass, paper back, and hanging wire, presumably original. It has an attached certificate of authenticity and identification taped to the back. It was sold by noted Canadian print dealer Kaoru Kamimura in 1985. Condition on the picture is good. The print itself seems to be well framed and is in fine shape. The frame has a long crack on the right side, and the back paper is torn. The tape on the certificate is yellowed and loose. A fine antique print from an important dealer!
