THE BOWL IS PRICED ACCORDINGLY DUE TO THE AS IS CONDITION. Selling this vintage 1950's Fire King Turquoise Gazelle splash proof mixing Bowl. The bowl has a tapered Splash Proof Shape. There are no cracks, no chips, no Flea Bites. The bowl is being sold in AS IS, used condition. There is dishwasher damage to the gazelles. Some varying levels of missing paint on the gazelles. They have lost their sheen. There are pale utensil marks on the inside of the bowl due to beater/whisk use. The sheen has gone from the inside of the bowl, as well. I have researched that if just displaying the bowl, the owner can rub olive oil on the outside to give it a temporary sheen. This will remain until washed and the sheen/shine is gone again. The bowl measures about 9.5" diameter x 6" tall. Marked in script: Fire-King OVEN WARE 9 MADE IN USA. This bowl was manufactured from 1951-1960. What a fabulous designed mixing bowl! Use it or display it, either way, a great addition for the vintage style kitchen. I AM NOT AN EXPERT WHEN IT COMES TO GAUGING THE CONDITION OF USED OR VINTAGE ITEMS. I EXPLAIN AS MUCH AS I CAN AND TAKE MANY PICTURES AT DIFFERENT ANGLES TO SHOW GREATER DETAILS.
