Original Cel & Background with Hanna-Barbera Seal of Authenticity, plus ASIFA-Hollywood Authentic Cel Seal A very classic Fred Flintstone hand-painted image on animation cel mounted with its original hand-painted background. This animation artwork has two Certificates of Authencity on it. The first is a Seal of Authencity from manufacturer Hanna-Barbera and the second is a Seal of Authencitiy from ASIFA (the International Animation Film Association). See the third scan for the locations of the seals on this animation artwork. Reasonable offers will be considered. The Hanna-Berbera seal is embossed on the cel. This seal reads: "ORIGINAL HAND-PAINTED CELL / HB / HANNA-BARBERA PROD., INC." This embossed seal is an older style of the "H-B Box" logo and not one of the newer varieties seen on later Hanna-Barbera artwork. The ASIFA-Hollywood seal is printed on the cel and reads: "AUTHENTIC / ASIFA / Hollywood / ANIMATION CEL". ASIFA-Hollywood was founded in 1957, by Bill Scott, Stephen Bosustow, Ward Kimball, William T. Hurtz, Les Goldman, and Bill Littlejohn, and in 1960 was chartered by UNESCO. June Foray was another early ASIFA member, and recalled that she joined "a year or so" after the organization was chartered. ASIFA stands for the "Association Internationale du Film d'Animation" or "ASIFA" (the International Animated Film Association). ASIFA now has more than 30 branches across the world. The cel on background is 11½ x 9¼ inches. Fred Flintstone's good sized image is approximately 5 x 6 inches. Scans are of the actual animation artwork being offered. Note: there are two minor tears in the cel not affecting the Fred Flintstone image or either of the two seals, see the last two scans.
