Notes:This copy of the report does not include any maps. This message was removed from a larger volume and rebound in boards with cloth spine. The title handwritten on the spine is incorrect. The document transmitted to Congress by President Andrew Jackson was a report made under the direction of the Topographical Bureau of a survey between Mobile and Pensacola bays with reconnaissance between Choctawhatchie river and St. Andrew bay. The survey was authorized by Congress in July 1932 to determine canal routes in the Territory of Florida. Attached to the survey are several additional documents relating to the bill of the Senate, No. 1 “Supplementary to the act authorizing the Territory of Florida to open canals between Chipola river and St. Andrew’s bay and from Matanzas to Halifax river, in said territory” Some of these documents date back to 1826. There is also British correspondence related to Florida from 1771 to 1774. “ CONDITION: Very Good binding / Good Conetnts. (Boards have light soil and some sunning, spine title is incorrect.
