Description: This fabulous folk art whirligig (wind toy) which is hand made and hand painted is of a man using a long saw to cut wood on his trestle table with a wooden post and a windmill on top. This handsome piece has a name and date plaque to the bottom of the mahogany base which reads R. Brown 1932 which would have been the name of the person that lovingly made this and date when it was made. An fascinating piece of folk art of exceptional quality that looks wonderful displayed on a shelf and is an interesting collectable talking piece. Material: Mahogany. Brass. Metal. Date: 1932.
