This hand decorated dish was manufactured by Gladding, McBean & Co. in California and based on the maker’s mark of the bottom this piece was produced from 1949-1953. Franciscan Apple is a beautiful earthenware pattern featuring hand-painted designs that reflect the beauty of California's apple orchards. The dish is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or crazing. The pattern is clear and vibrant with no damage. Not sure this piece was ever used. Approximate measurements are 12” long x 9 ¾” wide x 1 ¼” tall. Please review all photos as they are a major part of the description.
