It is beautifully crafted and detailed and made of faience pottery. It depicts the Virgin Mary carrying the infant Jesus. The piece is nicely hand-painted, and signed on the underside of base. A great addition to any collection! CONDITION: The statue presents well and is in excellent condition, with minimal display wear and patina; there are a few very minor areas of roughness/skips in glaze around bottom edge.
