Description: NOTE: I try to keep the cost with free shipping on small seed orders as low as possible by using first class letter mail without tracking. It works well, but sometimes is a little slow and very occasionally they don't show up at all. In order to be able to keep using this low cost service on Ebay, PLEASE do not open a case if you do not receive the seed order. There is no way for me to provide tracking for an open case, and they punish me for USPS mail failures. JUST MESSAGE ME DIRECTLY and let me know you haven't received them, and I'll resend them out for you. Look for the seeds (unless you pay for first class package with tracking) in your regular letter mail in a white envelope with a butterfly or flower sticker on it. AND FYI: ANYONE WHO OPENS A CASE BEFORE CONTACTING ME WILL GET BLOCKED!!!! I'm over it..... or about to PULL the cheap shipping option for EVERYONE because of a few who can't read. Fresh Seeds For 2023 Growing Season 100% Organically Grown Celosia Cristata "Crested Flower" "Amish Cockscomb" "Giant Celosia" Non Gmo, Heirloom, Open Pollinated Beautiful exotic annual flower that readily reseeds itself. It has a super vibrant bright fuchsia colored ruffled velvety feeling blossoms. Smaller flowers look like the comb of a rooster, and the very Large ones kind of look like a brain. The plants will get anywhere from a couple of feet to 4 feet tall. And the flower heads can be very large, and sometimes need to be staked to hold them up they get so heavy, particularly after a heavy rain or watering. I dry the flower heads for floral arrangements and wreaths, and they are just spectacular, either in the garden, in cut bouquets or dried in decor. The Cockscomb plants are heat <3'rs so you want to start the plants in mid to late spring because starting them too soon will just get you a bunch of stunted seedlings because they really need the heat and hot sunny days of summer to grow quickly. You can actually start as late as June and have plenty of time to get the large flower heads, in zones 7 or lower. Higher numbered zones where the fall cold is a few weeks behind us here in zone 7, you can sprout them into mid summer. They are gorgeous cut flowers, great for drying......AND..... THEY ARE EDIBLE!!! :) These were grown ORGANICALLY with only natural fertilizers and pest control I do not include tracking on shipping, unless you are combining these with another item/items. Shipping usually takes about 3-4 days. They will be in a regular first class letter envelope. Germination rates when conditions are right, are up to 90%. They have to be moist, sown on top of soil with sunlight. The soil cannot be soggy because they will rot if they are TOO wet. They will usually sprout in from 7 to 14 days. SHIPPING: I ship individual orders of small and tiny seeds in regular first class letter envelopes without tracking to save you on shipping costs. *****If you order 4 or more seed items, order larger sized seeds, or large volumes of one seed type, I will send in a padded envelope with tracking automatically with the free shipping option. *****You can request 1st class shipping with tracking, or priority mail/priority express shipping with any order. If you chose "FREE SHIPPING", please note that many times you will not receive a tracking number when your order is marked complete. If you do not receive your seed order within 2 weeks of the date you ordered, contact me, and I'll resend your order. I do not give refunds or accept returns on seeds, but I will most certainly resend an order that does not show up due to USPS incompetence. We <3 organic gardening and totally enjoy sharing the fruits of our labor with our friends here on Etsy~ Every order is a blessing, and we want all of our fantastic buyers to be 100% happy with their purchase. So contact us ASAP if you aren't (for any reason) thrilled with your order. Happy and Blessed Growing!!!!
