Description: BOOK APPEARS UNREAD AS IT APPEARS TO HAVE NOT BEEN OPENED. I TOOK MY PHOTOS AT THE POINT WHERE I FELT RESISTANCE AND THAT WAS ABOUT 60 DEGREES. THE FAUX LEATHER BINDING HAS NO CONDITION ISSUES OTHER THAN DUST. GILT TOP PAGE EDGES. INTERIOR MAY BE UNREAD BUT THESE WERE NOT EXPENSIVE BOOKS AND THERE IS AGE RELATED PAPER TONING/ YELLOWING TO THE PAGES. BOOK HAS A SILK BOOK MARK BUT THE PART THAT DANGLES OUTSIDE OF THE BOOK HAS FADED ((photo 4). THERE IS SOILING TO BOTTOM PAGE EDGES (Photo 4). I don't know the date of printing but the book had a paper inside that described the edition (Photo 5) and there is no zip code on the address of the printer, so this was printed before 1963. This book has a copyright of 1953 so that narrows the printing date to between 1953-1963 This was part of a series of four books of Classical Russian Novels of the Nineteenth Century and the other two were written by Tolstoy.
