It remains mint today! With its meticulous glazing, the blue primary color becomes both muted and vibrant at the same time. Its delicate looking handles and demure height of 6 inches is deceiving and understates its superb intense feel, similar to that of an antique crock. The simplistic pinecone design is a tribute to the beauty of nature in art. It was created for the lower-income and working-class Americans that found a passion for traveling the national park system in the post-depression era known as the Poverty Years from 1942-1956. Although Roseville marks are inconsistent we can place this imprinted Roseville 906-6 somewhere between 1936 to 1953 heavily favoring the 1940s.
