Description: This used 100 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a blue note that is dated 10 September 1909, bear the signatures of Havenstein & von Glasenapp, Schmiedicke, Korn, Maron, von Lumm, von Grimm, Kauffman, and Schneider, and measures 207 mm x 102 mm. Its obverse side features the profiles of Ceres and Mercury, the imperial crown and regalia resting on oak leaves, the imperial eagle, and red Reichsbank seals. Its reverse side shows three battleships at sea, a seated Germania, three battleships at sea, and an oak tree. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of Wilhelm I with a 100. The note was withdrawn in 1925.
