Description: Originally published in 1994, this small edition reprint faithfully reproduces the first appearance of the zine that was to become the sought after magazine Giant Robot. This publication was printed to commemorate the 20th anniversary of this first appearance of Giant Robot, which from such humble beginnings parlayed its focus on Asian pop culture to become a magazine carried in such mainstream stores such as Tower Records and Borders. They expanded into mail-order and eventually opened brick and mortar stores featuring the Asian products appearing in the Giant Robot magazine. Good copy, no marks or tears, read only once, bought from the Giant Robot booth at Comic-Con and cared for ever since. Includes Nakamura’s note about this reprint edition (see photo).
