Description: This one offers a Gilbert American Flyer S gauge #312 Pacific 4-6-2 smoke in tender locomotive (no tender). The engine runs well in both directions and the reverse unit works consistently. The boiler front is missing and the piece will benefit from being cleaned. There is a chip in one of the whitewall driver insulators which does not affect operation. Smoke tube is present and pliable. The screw on the gear plate has been replaced as it is a Phillips head rather than flat, but it does secure the plate and is properly tapered so that it sits flat. TCA #97-45581.
