Description: Gracie Fields 1930's British Star signed presentation 16x12". Presentation includes a signed album page and stunning vintage photo. A star of cinema and music hall, Fields was one of the top ten film stars in Britain during the 1930s and was considered the highest paid film star in the world in 1937. Fields was known affectionately as Our Gracie and the Lancashire Lass and for never losing her strong, native Lancashire accent. Fields' most famous song, "Sally", which became her theme, was written for her first film, Sally in Our Alley (1931), a major box office hit. She went on to make a number of films, initially in Britain and later in the United States (when she was paid a record fee of £200,000 for four films). This signed presentation comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from AFTAL approved leading European memorabilia specialists Chaucer Covers. You are also welcome to check out our other collectables that we have for sale. Please feel free to bid as there is always a little 'wiggle-room' on price (as long as bids are not too cheeky). If successful with your bid, please pay promptly. If no payment has been received after 48 hours of a sale, then the item will be relisted. Happy Bidding!
