My oh my Dead Fans, as offered here is a Rare ! one indeed - as this is the Vintage-Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the October 25, 1985 ( 10/25/1985 ) Show at the Sportatorium ! in Hollywood, Florida ( FL ) !!! Or, just as Lou Reed like to once so-excellently say ... F.L.A. !!! Awesome ... Wow ! You bet Fans, as this is not only one of the Incredible ! Rick Griffin " Aoxomoxoa " style Pass designs, where a design portion of the 1969 Grateful Dead Album Aoxomoxoa was used as an official G.D. Backstage Pass ! But ... this is one of the Super-Rare ! ones with a ' White ' Border - that just looks so-clean & Cool ! with this Fabulous ! G.D. / Griffin Art design. There were some other border-colors used during this Mid-'80's Era for this design ... Green, Pink, and others. But, finding this one in with a White Border - is a pretty stout challenge, and ... especially here close to 35-Years after the Show ! This one is just a Beauty ! - as the Red lines Glow !! ... and the Yellow in the Sun ! Speaks !!! And ... for the best part - Ha ! - " The Show " !!! Just seeing ! this date makes me about weak in the knees, as Garcia's Silver-Face Fender Twin Reverb TONE !!! is nothing short of Nasty !!!!! He gets enough pop & crunch to either Sink a Ship ... or, to Melt Your Mind ! So glassy, so pure, so edgy & moody, and just Terror ! Rock & Roll. Garcia got some way-Hot tones in '81, '82, '83, '84, '86, '87, '88 ( kinda ), '89 & '90 ... but - this little period here in '85... he stacks the juice ! on the reverb knob ( 7 1/2 ? - I can't remember exactly ... ) and it is So ... " On !!! ". Then, one step on that MXR Phase 100 -- and You ! are going to the Moon ! my Dear Friend ... Whoa ! In fact, if you're not familiar with this Show ... and hopefully that's-not the case ! Jerry is Feelin' it so-well, that he even calls Deal ! for the Show Opener !!! And, opens Set II with Morning Dew !!!!! And no, I'm not making that up - believe it ... Wow ! After Deal in I - Garcia & Weir trade on a Rooster, then the Iko Cooks ! And Jerry uncorks a Loser for the Mid-'80's ages !!! And, the Band responds by completely Banging-out a speedy Let It Grow with some Serious-Attack ! Then, after Set II - Garcia drops the Dew !!! ... and then pretty much lets Bobby steer the ship ! Just check this-stuff out ... Dew ! - Estimated > Eyes > Drums > Space > Miracle > Black Peter > Sugar Mag !!! With a Baby Blue Encore ! So, only Peter & Baby Blue left for Jerry ... but, it's ok - because it is indeed ... " Ace-Time ! " -- and he is Feelin' Feisty, and delivers too !! Especially in Miracle !
