Description: Six drawer J & P Coats spool cabinet thread cabinet with brass pulls. Cabinet is in mahogany and in excellent refinished condition. 23 high and 26 wide and 19 deep. Front of drawers read (in recess) J & P Coats, Spool Cotton, White, "Best Six Cord", Black, Assorted Colors'. Would make a wonderful end table or night stand; or a super piece in your sewing room. Note fancy turned pillars and pressed design on drawer fronts on either end. This is the model which has the neat embossed J & P spool of thread on the back panel---one of the most popular of all spool cabinet designs. Circa 1900. PERFECT.
