Previous folds and light edge wear. One small hole at a fold. Good condition.A brightly colored and fun map issued by Greyhound Bus Line in 1937. We find records of these maps being published from at least 1934 to 1940, the heyday of bus transportation in the United States. The Greyhound routes are shown in black lines with connecting routes in dotted lines. Small comical figures highlight the attractions for each state. The cartographer might consider a new line of work. The Battle of Little Bighorn is shown in South Dakota and Scotty's Castle is in far northern Nevada. Oh well, it is a comical map either way. They nailed the compass rose incorporating the running greyhound logo of the bus line.For as many of these that were distributed, these maps are relatively scarce on the market today.
