Description: Guyatone AD-X Flip Tube Power Analog Delay - Made in Japan - 1990's The Guyatone AD-X Flip Tube Power Analog Delay is a tube-driven delay pedal that was made in Japan in the 1990's. It utilizes a Panasonic MN3101 bucket brigade device (BBD) chip. This is a short delay chip about 150-200ms max. There are 'Repeat' and 'Delay Time' controls and 'Input' (gain for the tube section) and 'Delay' level controls. There is also a 'Mode' switch - 'Mode I' is a single delay line, 'Mode II' is a double tap delay line. Output 1 carries the effect signal and is active when the pedal is engaged - Output 2 carries the direct sound. There is a sweet spot around 8 on the Time control which provides a good slap-back echo setting. It comes with a vintage (NOS) Dumont 12AU7 tube. You can swap out tubes to get different sounds. This pedal only runs on a power supply (included). Be sure to let the tube warm-up before using it. Includes the original box and a brand new 12 volt power supply. Does not include a manual. The pedal is in excellent condition, the box is a little rough - see photos of the actual pedal. Will be carefully packed and properly protected for shipment.
