Description: This Christmas ornament was given as a gift by the Railroad company to commemorate 150 years of Union Pacific. The item is Ne' Qwa Art painted on the inside of mouth blown glass. Artist Mike Danneman was commissioned for this 150 Year anniversary ornament. It is about 6" long and 3 1/2" wide. There is a gold cording tassel for hanging. The ornament is resting inside a deep red velvet box with a cushioned satin liner. Amazing ornament and railroad collectible. This special edition ornament features one of the Union Pacific's powerful diesel locomotive from today, the SD70ACe No. 8620, flanked by 150 years of railroad history. One the left is UP 4-4-0 steam locomotive No. 119, which was built in 1868 and on hand in 1869 for the Golden Spike Ceremony at Promontory Summit, Utah. On the right is 1934-built UP M 10000, which ushered in the steamliner era. Ne'Qwa artists create every design by using the centuries-old tradition of painting on the inside of mouth-blown glass. Lovely gift for holiday decorating, or displayed year-round by a collector of railroad memorabilia. This is a pre-owned item. There are no chips, crack, or repairs.
