Harley Eaton Style Gas Cap Parkerized WLA WLC ELC WPA WWII Bobber Rat Rod

Description: One parkerized reproduction Eaton-style gas cap with long knurls (1939 to 1964 style) Harley Davidson twin models with split fat bob tanks and Sportster XLCH peanut tanks from 1958 to 1969. These also fit the left tank on 1937 to 1973 45” solo WL, WLA, WLC, WR, WLD, and Servicar models. As I mentioned, these are parkerized for a cool custom touch on a rat rod or bobber, or much easier to paint if you are doing a WWII era restoration, whether it's military or civilian. Civilian models manufactured from roughly mid-late 1942 to early 1946 had gloss black caps which we do now sell on another listing. These do NOT have the Eaton hallmark under the bung like the chrome ones I sell. Please double check your tanks prior to ordering, many aftermarket tank sets use the 1965 and up style bungs with different bayonet depths from the right to left. From 1936 to 1964, original H-D big twin tanks used the same cap on the right and left as illustrated in the last photo above.
