The copy of WILLIAM STOWE, Boston, with a pencil signature on each flyleaf. Possibly Col. William Stowe (1803-1855) the brother of Harriet's husband, Calvin Ellis Stowe. But Stowe is a fairly common New England name, so this might be a nobody. Or a somebody! Priced accordingly. Good.
