Description: Antique Haviland Limoges Gilded Acorn Coffee/Tea Pot in excellent preowned condition. Circa 1865. Has built in strainer. It measures approximately 9.5" tall, from handle to spout 9" and 5.5" wide. The opening is 3" and the bottom is 4". The gold gilding is in amazing condition for it's age with only minor wearing. No chips or cracks. "The American Haviland family started Haviland & Co., a Limoges porcelain manufacturer in France, in the 1840s. The Haviland family imported porcelain to the United States, which has always been their main market."
