This is an absolutely stunning very large fighter from the Swedish custom knife maker Anders Högström. Anders designed the very popular "Boker Hogstrom Kingpin Liner Lock knife". In the book 500 knives, Anders was honored to have 5 of his knives included. Anders regularly shows his knives at custom knife shows all over the world. This fighter is one of his best examples. The steel is the popular sword/fighter steel, 1050 carbon, with a double hamon line ( created by applying clay in a pattern). The edge hardness is 58-60RC with a softer, more flexible spine. The fittings were carved in wax and then cast in bronze.
