Description: This is an amazing mid century 1940's large pair of cufflinks. Each features a polished pyramid rectangular stone front, which we believe is smoky quartz. The color is a warm neutral brown with a nice transparency through the stone that interacts well with light creating a luxurious presentation. The frames and backs are a thick bright yellow solid gold with a clean simple sleek design that is timeless. A vintage yet modern feel. Each is stamped 750 which is the European gold standard for 18 karat. Handmade, high quality item with swivel backs for cuff placement. Great larger size, measures 1 inch wide, just over 0.25 inch high and is 2 inches deep. The gold back is 0.75 inch wide and 0.25 inch high. Total weight is 18 grams. Good condition with lights signs of wear/use. Please review the photos for further assessment. Included is a period presentation leather box that is likely original, it is marked Zurich.
