Description: By the time he was thirty, James Brown was more than a dominant musical voice, he was an amazing African American personality. Mr. James Brown is a legendary American singer, performer, musician and the central progenitor of Funk music and a major figure of the 20th century music! He was referred to by many Nicknames; the "King of Soul," "the Hardest Working Man in show business," "Minister of New Heavy Funk," "Godfather of Soul," "Mr. Dynamite," and "Soul Brother No. 1." He was some how feared and ridiculed though, he was an inspiration and (politically) a role model to many, in a career that lasted for more than 50 years, he influenced the creation of several music genres. One of the first ten inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on January 3, 1986. Just prior, in 1984 he teamed up with rap musician Afrika Bambaataa on song "Quinty," a year later he signed with Scotty Brothers Records and issued a moderately successful album "Gravity" in 1986 with popular song "How Do You Stop." It included Brown's final Top Ten pop hit, "Living In America", marking his 1st Top 40 entry since 1974 and his 1st Top 10 entry since 1968. In 1988, Brown worked with the production team Full Force on the new jack swing- influenced "I'm Real." It spawned his final two Top R&B hits, "I'm Real" and "Static", which peaked at No. 2 and No. 5, respectively. This record album of singles are from the "I'm Real" Album. DUPLICATE ALBUM INCLUDED
