Description: John Deere 420, 430 Lawn & Garden Tractor High / Low 2-speed locking rear differential in good working condition. Removed from a running JD 430 Lawn & Garden Tractor. Could also be used to convert a model 316, 318, 332, 330, or 332 to a 2-speed locking differential. 300 series axle housings will bolt right up to this. And the only fabrication involved is punching two holes in the fender deck, and drilling a few holes in the frame to attach operating linkage/levers. We sold several of these locally in the past year due to 420/430 rear differential failures and no parts availability from JD. And the complete assembly (AM107075) is no longer available new!
