Despite the lockout-shortened season limiting Major League Baseball to 112 games, Griffey Jr. appeared in 111 of those games and still managed impressive statistics, earning him the second-most votes in the American League MVP voting. He slugged 40 home runs with 90 RBIs and boasted a .323 batting average. Each cleat has been signed by Griffey Jr. in silver marker on the outside heel. Additionally, his number "24" is written on the back of each cleat in black marker by an unknown hand. The cleats exhibit excellent game use, showing scuffing, dirt staining, and creasing throughout. Each cleat comes with a PSA/DNA COA (B27286, B27285) for the signature authentication. They also include a COA signed by Griffey Jr. himself for authenticity, along with a COA from JSA certifying Griffey’s signature.
