Description: Very large unique French Victorian scene of two Lady's.Appears to have age to the art can't say how old though.Appears to be needle point,or similar type technique,don't hold me to it I'm pretty in the blind with this type of craft.Art in quite nice shape for being vintage,gold wooden frame has expected wear,and some gold loss.Art is quite lovely color wise, background of room lady's are in is mixture of greens,browns,and a bit of pink.Size including frame 27.25 in long,21.5 in wide.To be honest I've never run across framed needle point this large before,and haven't run across a Victorian French scene period in any size.Back in part says A executer avec les cotons D.M.C Made in France.Oh missing brown paper from back,I assume previous owner removed the brown paper to look for artist,and country made in.Tempted to keep this one,I find it to be lovely,prim,and proper.
