Description: Is it French? Is it German? Does it have anything to do with Napoleon the third? Is it British? Hard to identify, I found two other pieces via google lens and that makes me think this is rare. The stem handle comes out at the ends inside the bowl, look at the photos. I can not find any other pieces than the two I found on Lens that do. Hand painted. Gold trim Three compartments that are leaf shaped with a beautiful light pink around the edges and a bold green on the interior with detailed veins painted. I am not any sort of expert but I am guessing this is very old by the two descriptions I found of matching pieces. One said it was Tielsch Altwasser TC 1880 that would make it German, or made in Germany or Polish, made in Poland or Bavarian. However, the other piece stated that it was French in the style of Napoleon the third. It has no markings. It is fine porcelain because it is aged with no damage except some wear on the gold. While I was researching it I saw some reference to one like it being British. I only found one that had the three compartments. All the similar dishes that are out there have stems that come out of the piece, they don't have cut off ends like this. If you are looking and not buying and want to enlighten me that will be appreciated. If you know something I don't then maybe you should take advantage of my ignorance. I have enjoyed it but i have to downsize. I am selling with no guarantee as to the age but I am pretty certain it is from the 19th century because it has that kind of quality. It has delicate scalloping around the edges which have no damage, but do have wear on the gold. Some pieces like it mention lobster serving dishes and some similar have lobster handles. This handle is like a branch or a stem. Color on white. This is sold as is. Look carefully please.
