Purple-blue ribbed cloth covered boards with ivory-stamped lettering on front panel; ivory-stamped lettering and graphics on spine. Blind-stamped border around edges of front panel. Spine is sunned. Edges and corners at head and tail of spine are rubbed and with splits and frays. Spine folds are scuffed. Faint discolorations on front and back panels. Fore-edge corners have small rub-throughs. Lower edge of front panel has a small bump near the fore-edge corner. Internal gutter is cracked at half-title page. Back end papers are a bit grubby and with a few small fox-like spots. Back free end-paper has a 2 1/2" closed vertical tear from the upper edge. External page edges and text pages are age-toned. Text block feels a bit shaken.
