LEROY NEIMAN AMERICA'S CUP HAND SIGNED ORIGINAL SERIGRAPH SAILBOAT MAP

Description: What a wonderful piece of history this piece is! This one in particular lived above my parents bed for as long as I can remember. I inherited it from them and would love for it to go to someone that cherishes it as much as they did. This is an original HAND SIGNED silkscreen serigraph for America's Cup from the 1970's. The original art was created on an actual actual cartographers map showing the route that the U.S. took from Martha's Vineyard to Block Island in the year America won the AMERICA'S CUP. The print measures 31 x 26 inches and is hand signed in the lower right corner by the artist LeRoy Neiman. I recently removed the print from the mat and frame that it was housed in for the past 40+ years. There is tape along the edge (see photos) but is in GREAT condition! NO CREASES or HANDLING MARKS!! I will 2 day ship the print in a heavy duty tube using UPS. LeRoy Neiman, the artist of America's Cup, is best known for his brilliantly colored, stunningly energetic images of sporting events and leisure activities. In fact, he was probably the most popular living artist in the United States. His art is unique. It stands alone, without any real comparison.
