Description: This is a beautiful, vintage classic toiletry bag from the Louis Vuitton Toilette line in classic monogram canvas. The canvas is in remarkable condition, as evidenced by its photos. It has been VERY well-loved, being in circulation since the 80’s, so some updates (repairs) have been necessary. The original zipper is included, but has wasted away to practically nothing. I’ve included it with the bag in case a new owner would like to have it replaced using an original zipper if one can be found. Zipper tabs have been added on both ends to prevent the fraying as the original zipper sustained. I have carefully cleaned the interior without compromising authentication key points that may want to be used by the next owner. The date stamp is 822 and is barely hanging on. There is some flaking beneath the zipper, and various imperfections on the interior leather. All these imperfections can be remedied by replacing the lining or sealing the lining, but this is an aesthetic decision for the final owner. This bag has been repaired with unbranded parts and completed by The Kitten Kouture Boutique, a shop not licensed as a Louis Vuitton repair facility. The date stamp reads 822, made in February of 82, but this classic beauty still has a lot of life left in her!
