Featuring a wide, low bowl with applied loop handles, removable lid has a solid finial and sides are finished in a trailing floral design - pattern name is California Poppy by STOUFFER STUDIO. This was sold by the May Company, Los Angeles - guessing 1940s or 1950s in era. Condition is lovely with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage -- interior is clean and sugar bowl does not appear to have been used much.
