Description: Two (2) rare early original vintage official NAVAL AIRCRAFT FACTORY photographs of test pilot Lt. Commander Chase. A 1912 graduate of the Naval Academy, Chase became a Lt. On 27 Apr 1943 Lieutenant Chase Field, a naval air station, which is no longer active, was named for him. He was the first husband of Frances Sullivant(Beard)Reinburg. Photographs measure 3 x 4 1/4 inches and are in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and the images have strong tones with great contrast and clarity. Both photos have official NAVAL AIRCRAFT FACTORY stamps on back (see scans). Please email with any questions and please "VIEW SELLERS OTHER ITEMS". Thanks.
