Description: A screen printed cotton face ironing board cover commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II originally sold by Marks & Spencer. Decorated with Union Jacks, Corgis, crowns and handbags (of course!) in a postage stamp design format.Made in India. This cover has a pull string cinching mechanism. CONDITION: The cover is clean, recently hand-washed in fragrance-free laundry soap and hung to dry. There are no holes or tears or rips. I have looked very closely with magnification and I do not believe this has seen much, if any, contact with an iron. The cinching string is frayed at the ends. There are a few spots in the design field that I believe relate to the screen printing process. Meaning, stray bits of dye under another color of dye, not staining from use. There are also a few spots in the unprinted areas that are most likely also stray bits of dye. The front of the cover is so colorful and whimsical, you will not likely notice any minor issues. Though it is a bit wrinkled. Perhaps a good ironing is in order? This cover will be rolled for shipping. It may possibly be folded in half lengthwise before it is rolled. It will ship in a box.
