Their bodies are made of a dense, heavy weight vinyl that is intended to resemble the feel of porcelain. This is the "A Model Life" Barbie Doll giftset, released in 2002 as a limited edition. From the back: "For go-sees or being seen, A Model Life Barbie giftset offers the perfect work-to-play wardrobe. The hot pink chiffon wrap shirt contrasts against a black and white woven outfit - the first ever pantsuit from the Barbie Fashion Model Collection. Switch the sleek pant with "patent leather" skirt for a fun after hours ensemble. City accessories, including rose-tinted glasses and "patent leather" portfolio with"glossies" are model perfect. Doll and outfit have never been removed from box. She and her items are packed neatly and intact. All pieces appear to be present. She and the clothing is clean and shows no signs of display. The box has some light warping and discoloration on the surface (see pictures). Artificial materials or elastics may be weak or degraded from age and were not tested for their integrity.
