Description: Offering this great vintage lot of four Mid Century Modern snack sets from Pontesa. Made in Spain, these Ironstone Chinamoda pieces scream kitsch. Each snack set consists of a delicately handled cup and a snack sized plate. There are four two piece sets in this lot. The ironstone is bright white with brilliantly detailed graphics depicting tapas/appetizers characteristic of the fifties and sixties. There is some slight variation to the cup designs but each matches a plate and kind of contributes to its whimsical theme. Each set is free of chips, cracks,or stains. I did noticed some mild crazing to the bottom surface of one of the cups. This set is truly gift worthy and quite a find. I do not think it will disappoint the Mid Century Modern enthusist.The plates measure 9" #2187 PS4
