Description: This is a Mexican handcraft in the form of an EGG. It is covered with a silver-colored metal (aluminum or tin) held on with 1/4" strips of COPPER, lengthwise and widthwise. The 3 strips are nailed on with small brads. Each of the 8 divided sections contain a total of 18 PRAYER CHARMS called MILAGROS ("Miracles") of metal. They consist of people, animals, houses, body parts, etc. Also included are COPPER STARS, MOON and SUN emblems. All of the above are 1/2" to 1-1/4" in size and applied with nail brads. The egg is a spiritual item, and this one is LARGE! Most common is a 4" size; however this one is 6" tall and 4" wide (14" around). It is in very good condition. (Just needs a stand!)
