Period 1/4 leather binding, smooth spine, gilt bands & title lettering. Item is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Item is not new or in "new" condition. Binding well age worn, spine leather dried, scuffed and chipped at bottom, yet still remains overall attractive as an object. Text block paper is toned, heavily spotted, slightly shaken, clearly much consulted in the past. Still attractive on the shelf. Item displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
