MITS ALTAIR 8800 Original Vintage Microcomputer with 14 boards

Description: MITS Altair 8800 - Built by my father many years ago. Many of the kit boards have the serial engraved "RDT", my father's initials. A little dusty as it has been sitting in my ham shack/office on a shelf for many years. Has a lot of IO ports and a full width 18 slot backplane. I have not powered this up as I would think some of the capacitors would need to be replaced due to age. But when my father stored it many many years ago it was working according to him. These are getting harder and harder to find. Especially with a full width 18 slot backplane and a good selection of boards included. This sale will include the 14 boards listed below. I am estimating the shipping at $250 as this is a heavy item and the box will be large. Will insure for the amount of the sale. I will not ship out of the continental United States and a signature will be required. No warranty on this vintage item. No returns. Sold as is. No other cables or external devices are included. It is old, I am sure it will need some work to bring it to an operational state.
