Description: MEASURES:Height: 6,97 inch; Diameter: 5,71 inchCONDITIONS:Excellent general conditions, considering the age of the object, some small chips, no restorations, no lacks, no breakages. Item description:Wonderful, ancient ceramic vase entirely handmade on the lathe with small handles and with a mouth made with 4 inward folds, entirely enamelled and decorated by hand with floral and animal decorations, signed under the base with an ancient brand in underglaze blue from the Montelupo Fiorentino manufacture, datable between the 16th century and the very first decade of the 17th century. Information on artist and/or manufacturer: The mark under the base was used from 1540 until 1600, Casa Sinibaldi. In the last photos we have put more in-depth information on the brand taken from our manual of Montelupo ceramics.Useful information for the evaluation of the object:In the last photos you will find some Montelupo ceramics dating back to the same period quoted at auction from 6000 to 9000 euros up to maximum estimates of 12000-18000 euros for a single vase.Final thoughts on the subject:Beautiful patina that covers the vase, clearly visible under the base and on the small chips present, where it is clearly seen that the ceramic is black and dark, blackened by the numerous years of life of the object. The shape of the vase, especially with regards to the semicircular arches of the mouth with the small handles and the large belly as well as the decorations used, are quite common in the majolica vases of Montelupo Fiorentino in 1500-1600. The mouth was folded by hand creating four semicircular sections, while the circular crowns, hand painted with leaves and flowers on the mouth and leaves on the base, are the classic decorations of the oldest vases of Montelupo. ENTER OUR EBAY SHOPPORCELAINS, CERAMICS, TERRACOTTE, BRONZE, PAINTINGS, FURNITURE, GLASS AND MUCH MORE AS, FOR EXAMPLE: .OUR COMMERCIAL POLICYAware of operating in the eBay market, our prices are often lower than the real value of the object, as often documented in our descriptions, and also lower than the prices at which very similar objects are offered on other online art sales platforms and antiques. At the same time, eBay reciprocates with the possibility of selling a high quantity of objects, so our commercial policy is to earn little for the single object, but sell a lot and therefore earn on the quantity. In fact, the asking price is always as low as possible, considering how much the item was paid for and the eBay commissions (for the sale, payment and any currency exchange: from a minimum of 15% to a maximum of 21% , according to the country in which the advertisement was made). For each object there may be multiple advertisements in different countries: USA, Italy, France, United Kingdom, etc. Any price differences are due only to changes in the exchange rate of the various currencies between when we made the advertisement and when you see it. REMEMBER TO PUT ME IN THE FOLLOWING SELLERS LISTFor any additional information or clarification we are at your complete disposal, so contact us via message here on eBay. SHIPPING WORLDWIDE - RETURN ALWAYS ACCEPTEDThe cost of packaging is also calculated in the shipping cost, and everything has increased by 19% because both ebay and paypal also take fees on the shipping cost. OUR SHIPMENTS:.Our shipments cost a little more than the average, but they are all shipments with professional packaging. Double box with a lot of bubble wrap around the object and a lot of soft material in the large cavities on all sides between the two boxes. This means that the package is much larger and heavier and therefore the cost of shipping increases, not to mention all the work necessary to carry out a similar packaging and the cost of the various materials used...
